CloZee 'Heya' Official Music Video // 2020⁠ .⁠ .⁠ .⁠ For the release of her latest album, Neon Jungle, CloZee and team approached us to create an animated music video for her track, "Heya". The creation of the video spanned a single month, and used a blend of game engine/ real-time workflows, as well as more traditional post-compositing for creating the final sequence. To tackle this project, we brought on our long time friends and collaborators at Blunt Action. For his 2019 show dates, our team was brought back to continue developing and evolving Said the Sky's live show.⁠ .⁠ 2019 was a year of massive growth for Trevor Christensen (Said the Sky), scaling up his production, incorporating live strings in addition to his usual drum line, and having our team get more involved and scale up the visual portion of his show. This year marks the 4th year working with Said the Sky.⁠ .⁠ For 2019, we built upon and added new content to Trevor's current live show, creating new intro, lyric, and video elements. For the 2019 Skoll World Forum, we were asked to design a visual narrative and creative content that played off the Forum's theme "Accelerating Possibilities" while maintaining Skoll's overarching branding, narrative, and core values.⁠ .⁠ Our involvement started from the very beginning, helping develop stage concepts and layouts with collaborator and production provider, Partytecture, and Skoll's in-house creative directors, Phil Collis and Gabriel Diamond. Working together, we collectively decided to proceed with a 4K resolution T-shaped LED wall to accentuate the conceptualized IMAG and live camera feeds on each of the stage's wings. After developing the stage layout, our role was to create a visual narrative for the Forum's week-long plenaries. Playing upon the forum's theme, "Accelerating Possibilities", we set out to make the 2019 Skoll World Forum the most visually compelling year yet while bolstering the Skoll brand, narrative, and message.⁠ .⁠ Over the course of 2 months, our creative team worked in 2D and 3D animation realms to develop ever-evolving visual backdrops, speaker animations, branded logo stings, custom IMAG frames, guest musical performance content, week-of media slideshows, and intricate transitions to tie everything together as one seamless video piece and form a cohesive look for the week that advanced the forum's visual branding. For their 2018 World F
Skoll World Forum // 2018 . For their 2018 World Forum in Oxford, UK, the @skoll.foundation invited us back to create the visual component for their event week’s plenaries. Every year, the Skoll World Forum brings together social entrepreneurs from around the world to collaborate, inspire, and discuss global issues at Oxford University in the UK. For this year’s forum, we had a more hands on approach throughout the creative process, from designing the stage’s video layout to coming up with a unique visual aesthetic that heightened the audience’s experience. The theme for the event was “proximity”, so we incorporated visual elements and animation techniques to convey and bolster the week’s overarching message. We worked closely with the creative team at the Skoll Foundation and the event’s production crew, Partytecture, to fuse all the visual elements into one seamless visual show. After all the visual components were completed, we spent the week programming and operating the video portion of the show throughout each of the week’s plenary presentations. . For their 2018 World F
Skoll World Forum // 2018 . For their 2018 World Forum in Oxford, UK, the @skoll.foundation invited us back to create the visual component for their event week’s plenaries. Every year, the Skoll World Forum brings together social entrepreneurs from around the world to collaborate, inspire, and discuss global issues at Oxford University in the UK. For this year’s forum, we had a more hands on approach throughout the creative process, from designing the stage’s video layout to coming up with a unique visual aesthetic that heightened the audience’s experience. The theme for the event was “proximity”, so we incorporated visual elements and animation techniques to convey and bolster the week’s overarching message. We worked closely with the creative team at the Skoll Foundation and the event’s production crew, Partytecture, to fuse all the visual elements into one seamless visual show. After all the visual components were completed, we spent the week programming and operating the video portion of the show throughout each of the week’s plenary presentations. . For 2019 edition of Das Energi Music Festival, our studio was approached by our long-time friends at V2 Presents to create a custom visual environment for the festival's main stage, The Reactor, as well as an on-brand visual content package.⁠ .⁠ Every year, V2 Presents hosts one of Utah's largest electronic music festivals, called Das Energi. Located at The Great Saltair, the event pulls tens of thousands of attendees.⁠ .⁠ To take the Das Energi production to the next level for its 2019 installment, we were tasked with creating content that aligned with this year's cyberpunk and retro themes, while building in alpha layers to the custom stage environment.
